LaplandUK have built a rich narrative based on an original adaptation of the Father Christmas story revolving around the discovery of an ancient elven civilisation by a Toymaker and his wife. What started as a small event is now a fully immersive, 4 hour, sell-out experience in extensive woodlands in Ascot, brought to life through numerous books, digital engagement (via the website and app). Big and small folk can encounter the many elven characters and most importantly help save Christmas.

Our initial engagement with LaplandUK saw the development and design of a narrative based logo. This led onto helping them shift their proposition with a wider identity system, moving from a purely event based brand to a wider, more enriched elven world that could engage with and educate audiences in both the real and digital spheres.

An elven world branding system

Following our core brand work we went onto develop further design systems and guidelines for the immersive elven world spanning character assets, elven ephemera and engaging activities for the visitors. These play out across all touch points, enriching the immersive nature of not only the experience but also social, website, merchandise and F&B.
